Today, the County Councils Network launches its new Your County Matters micro site.

Launched last year, Your County Matters aims to illustrate the importance of county authorities, the services they provide and the communities they represent.
Visit the new site here: www.yourcountymatters.org.uk.

This new website brings together a wealth of information on counties, from regular blog posts, best practice case studies, and downloadable materials and infographics on CCN advocacy, as well as showcasing the importance of county authorities in the context of local government this year and beyond.

It contains information and key statistics on each of the key strands of the Your County Matters campaign: Your County Works, Cares, and Thrives as well as a round-up of notable media coverage in the last few months for CCN.

The website will be regularly updated with new blogs, downloadable material, and best-practice case studies from the CCN family. Once purdah and the county elections are over, the case studies section will contain several submissions from our member councils.
With county elections taking place in 32 of our member councils, we are pleased to announce that the Your County Matters campaign will play an important part in the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU) Out for the Count local election coverage. More information on this can be found here.

If you are a CCN member council and you would like to submit a case study, please email ian.burbidge@local.gov.uk.
