Free School Meals webinar
On Wednesday 22nd April, CCN alongside Basis and Bremner & Co hosted a webinar to discuss the Dialogues publication, focusing on Free School Meals. The report can be downloaded here. The webinar hosted alongside Basis and Bremner & Co discussed the report alongside Devon County Council who have implemented the ‘opt-out auto award’.
The webinar was chaired by Cllr Bill Revans, CCN spokesperson for Education and SEND. Ashlee Teakle from Basis and Myles Bremner, Bremner & Co who talked us through the key elements of the report and the detail and support they offer to councils regarding opt-out auto-award for free school meals. Jack Newton, previous Deputy Director - Inclusion and Learning talked through his experience at Devon County Council.
